A MORE PERSONAL VIEW
I am still getting the hang of creating posts - getting the pictures to post with the relevant text is a puzzle. Here are a couple of views of my tiny apartment home, which is right behind my shop. I am so lucky to live and work here. I came here 11 years ago and I knew right away this was where I wanted to be. Lord knows I get so frantically busy juggling everything in my life that I sometimes just rush through my days.
But then I usually step out every morning to sniff the air when I feed the cats, or hear the air rushing through the trees in the late afternoon - moments when you stop, and are just there in the present.

Hi Wendy...
I love seeing your creative space and your living space - they blend together perfectly! I'll see you in New York in November - I'm at Tinsel Trading on the 13th!

Aha! The comment page is working now! Before I couldn't get thru..I sent an email, but wasn't sure if that made it either...

I, too, start the day with coffee in bed---nice to ease into the day rather than being slammed into realilty!! ;-)

Oh Wendy, what a smart girl to move from the city to this little treasured space tucked away in the hills. I just love the view and the light from your room. You're a lucky girl to call this place home.
Hi Wendy...
How utterly blissful! One of my dreams is to get to your shop!!!
I live way over in Ohio! This is such a treat to see inside your world!!!!
Your life is rich with many blessings. Lovely to have found your new blog!
gorgeous pictures! i've found that if you upload the images as large, the text sorts itself out. when i try ot do medium or small, the text crawls along the side!
I have been following your work for years and just found your blog. Gorgeous rooms. You have such artistic style. I too am still puzzling over posting pics in the order I want them. I find I have to start with the last one first and then write my posts around them after they are all loaded. I'm sure there is an easier way but I certainly don't know it.
Ive just discovered your blog and now I dont have to sneak into Port Costa to peek in your store front and drool.
I can drool in the privacy of my own home.

Oh my kind of place...Magical just like you...xoxox Laura
What a perfect spot to live and work, it looks so beautiful. Just right for inspiring great ideas, which you seem to have plethora of!
Hope you are having a happy week,
Lidy
This photo is an absolute work of artistry. This is the most timeless bed space I have ever seen. I just wish I could prop my pillows in just the exact way you did and drape the coverlet just so. Makes you want to jump right in and never leave. Thanks for the inspiration!!
