THE REASON FOR CATS
The reason CATS are here....is to remind us to slow down!
I have posted pictures of Big Boy, who is my studio cat, and here is Mr. Kitty, who owns my bed. He will occasionally move over and let me sleep there too, but there are mornings when I wake up and find my head flat on the bed, and Mr. Kitty, curled up right in the middle of my pillow.

i love your blog :)
Love my ten year old cats, Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie was found at a used car lot. Clyde was found in a dumpster. Found you in Country Living. Wonderful issue!

I found your blog via american county homes which i view via the web. Being a Brit and loving anything colonial i loved your shop featured so continued onto your blog. I also love cats and know what you mean about slowing down and how they take over your life. Just wanted to say hello. Beverley - www.beverleylovestosew.blogspot.com
Love the blog but wish I could find an email address. Live in England so its not easy to visit your store.... Also agree with what you said about cats, having two myself they do take up the best position on the bed and eye you suspiciously if you try to move them...

Hi Wendy,
I just found you in the Country Living Magazine and just had to visit you. Your shop is lovely. So many creative things! I can easily spend all my money in there. I happen to adore cats too. You are an inspiration.
Have a wonderful day,

Just bought the October 2009 issue of Country Living because of the article about you- there is some neat stuff in the magazine, also.
Your web site is super, over the top...keep up the great works, cannot wait to see more.
Cats as a class, have never completely got over the snootiness caused by that fact that in Ancient Egypt they were worshipped as gods.

We had three Pussycats, one was Edward named after King Edward the 8th, Elliot named after Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau and Carson named after his birth place. Well, sadly we no longer share our home with Elly our Big Fat House Cat and Eddy the Rebel with every cause for escaping…hehe they now live in the after life.
Carson luvs the pillow as does Grace our Golden and Bandit, our love bird who is more of a vampire bird adores drawing out blood from unsuspecting guests in vengeance for never giving him a female companion.
What if there weren’t any pets to keep?
Our homes would be soulless!
I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul. – Jean Cocteau
>^..^< Love the Mystery silver garland Wendy and the studio must be just Spooktacularly Haunting!!!>^..^<
My daughter used black tulle for a garland on the fireplace with orange lights making it very Halloweeny, cozy and warm.

Hello Wendy!
I am delighted to see you posting, and your website is charming and so creative.
I wish you much luck with your line and life. Having a Cat is such therapy, they do own us don't they.
